Lisburn Mayor gets revved up for All Ireland Italian Motor Event

Mayor of Lisburn, William Leathem took time out of his busy schedule to check out a couple of the cars that will be present at the Northern Ireland Italian Motor Club’s “All Italian Motor Event” at Lagan Valley Island on Saturday 25th May.

He is pictured with Fiat  and Abarth enthusiasts Herbie McBratney and Clare Logan who talked to him about their cars and their passion for Italian machinery.

In addition to Herbie’s rare 1964 Fiat 1500 Cabriolet , and Clare’s competition bred Abarth 595 Competizione we hope to have an impressive display of other Italian marques on display, both of the four wheeled and two wheeled variety. We hope that cars from other manufacturers such as Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo and Lancia will all be represented, some new, some older and possibly some very rare examples which people may not have seen before.  Not forgetting the motorbikes we also hope to see a collection of 2 wheeled offerings from Italy – Ducatis, Moto Guzzis and Aprilias and possibly some Lambretta scooters.

There’ll be something to appeal to all tastes –  so come along and join us on Saturday 25th May – everyone is welcome.
