Get revved up for Italian Motor Event in Lisburn
We are now well and truly on the countdown to our annual “All Ireland Italian Motor Event” – it’s less than 2 weeks away. We have put in a formal request for good weather and we hope the powers that be will oblige.
The Mayor of Lisburn and Castlereagh, Thomas Beckett has given his seal of approval for the show as we joined him for a photo opportunity a few days ago. The Mayor hopes to join us to officially open the event on 28th May and welcome everyone to Lisburn City. In the attached photo he is pictured with the Club Chairman Cyril McMullen and his brother David who are both passionate about all things Italian. Pictured (left to right) are an Abarth 500 Bicolore, a Ducati Multi Strada Pikes Peak and an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce. The Mayor was impressed with the potential line up of cars and bikes at the show and the range of Italian marques that we hope will be on display.
In case you need reminding entry is free and the event runs from 10am to 4pm. We are keen to make this our biggest and best event yet and it would be great if you and as many of your fellow Italian car and bike loving friends could join us – As you will see from the website photos the event has grown from strength to strength in recent years and we really want those who have previously attended to come again this year. We also want to welcome some new cars and bikes to the line up.
So please continue to spread the word and encourage anyone you know to come along to Lagan Valley Island on 28th May – preferably with an Italian car or bike.
